I am failing to fall asleep again, so I decided to play around with my table layouts. At the moment I am playing 8 tables with 4, one in each corner filling the screen and another 4 layered on top. I have layered them in a way that I can see, and therefore click on everything title bar of each table, so that I can quickly bring that to the front for observing a hand, and this setup has worked well.
Next month will see me trying a new approach though, I will by giving stacking a try, which gave me an idea. Going from my current setup to stacking will be a huge change for me, so I decided to make a half way step by adjusting my layout so that I can no longer see the title bar of every table, so the top 4 tables are now stacked directly on top of the lower 4, this should hopefully help prepare me for stacking next month, and has the added benefit that now I have an empty strip in the centre of my screen, which should make note taking a lot easier, as now I can keep the replayer in the centre and always access it when it looses focus.
I have also set up the same layout with 12 tables, which I might give a try later tonight, or at least 10 has I have slowly started to play sessions with 9 or 10 tables instead of my usual 8 in the last week or so.

I am very pleased to report I have finally made Platinum VIP for the first time, it has taken approximately 60k hands, about 11k at 50nl and very nearly all the rest at 25nl fr and about 150 hours to get this locked up.
This week has been going really well except for this evening that is. I was really tired and planned to log off and take a break before I returned to finish my Platinum push, but a massive fish I was deep with kept me at the tables, until she or he sucked out on me twice and eventually left the scene. I was then so close to locking up Platinum that I decided to stay on and grind it out, which I have just finished now.
Off the top of my head this evening’s session cost me about $60+, which really sucks, but I made most of that this morning, so the dent was absorbed without too much damage.
My initial plan was to take tomorrow off now, but I think I’ll continue to play, as long as I spend some time off the tables to give myself a rest. A few things I might do tomorrow would include; some 180 man sit ‘n go’s as I haven’t played anyway for a long time, some big Sunday satellites, a few hyper turbo satellites to pick up the T$, and then I will probably grind some more 25nl fr and possible bum hunt / shot take 50nl fr. With any luck I will also have time / motivation to do some reading on 2p2, post a few hands and go other my database.

PS: Another hero call spot came up this session, which I added to my hero calls post.
