I’m being a little preemptive with my end of month roundup, as I don’t expect it to change much between now and tomorrow evening.
My cash grind as not gone very well. I’m down a little over 1/2 a buy in at 2c/5c. I think I’ve played mediocre at best, but looking back I think all of my big pot losses, where coolers or bad beats, with what felt like a relatively large percentage of set vs set and full house over full house encounters. Not that I mind much though, being over rolled makes it easier for me to ignore small periods of variance such as this and my tournament results have allowed me to still have a positive score for the month.
I am down relatively though, mostly because I got a little silly with my bankroll and splashed around a bit, tossing buy-in’s around with friends. Added to that my lack of performance at 5nl and it makes me feel like I’ve had a negative month.
I have managed to achieve two targets I set myself though, firstly I have now finished my 2nd read of No Limit Hold ‘em: Theory and Practice
