Stud /8
I’ve just had my first ever session of Stud /8. I’m liking this game, though it will take me some time to get used to it. My first session didn’t go all that well, in some ways it reminded me of razz, but it I feel it will be very easy for me to improve and to start earning a profit from it, which will be a nice deviation from my normal hold ‘em sessions.
Most of my pots tonight ended up in high / low chops, mostly because my low missed or my high was 2nd best, but most of the time I took half the pot, which isn’t too terrible for a first attempt. Hopefully I’ll have a better session tomorrow after I’ve done a little more reading.
