Septemeber Target’s
To kick this month off to a good start I wanted to post my monthly targets, first though I want to shout out another huge Thank You to Poker Stars for truly being the best poker site in the world ever!, here’s why, not only are they now running a discount on the RSA token’s, but if you purchased yours earlier, they give you the difference between what you paid and the new discounted price, back into your account, without even having to ask, how amazing is that! 
I was surprised to find an extra 3k or so FPP’s in my account when I logged on earlier, and thought nothing of it, just ordered some more cash bonuses lol, but the unl chat room cleared the mystery up for me, so Thank you Poker Stars!
Anyways, back to my targets.
Objectives
1. Spend the first week, re-building my game and gaining confidence, besides bum hunting or possibly a HU match, I will probably be playing 25nl full ring almost exclusively.
2. Hopefully I will have my regular computer back by the second week, so I will then buy HEM, and spend this week on getting used to it and seeing a HUD on my tables for the first time.
3. The rest of the month will hopefully be split between trying out stacking, trying to get up to 12 tabling and shot taking 50nl full ring.

New Poker Goodies
My second order from the Poker Stars VIP store arrived yesterday. I made the order to help me get over my recent night of horrors, when the only thing I managed to earn was a bunch of FPP’s lol.
So, what did I get. Well I got a Poker Stars Mug, yes I know lol, but I kept spilling coffee all over my desk, and at least once it ran through the cable holes above my computer and almost killed my power supply, so I wanted a mug with a lid on it. I’ve only used it 2 or 3 times, and despite not really enjoying the feel of the handle, I really like it, it seems to keep my brew warm for ages, which is great as I always forget about it when grinding lol.
I also picked up some new reading material with a copy of The Psychology of Poker by Alan N Schoonmaker. I don’t know much about this book, but apparently it covers the different forms of tilt, so I felt it could help me understand my own form of tilt, which seems to differ a great deal from the general consensus.
I’ll try and post a review once I’ve read it, though I find it harder to review books then other stuff for some
reason.
July 2009, Summary
Been so busy I forgot to share my results / performance for July. I was really hoping that I would make my first $1k month in July, but it didn’t work out that way, partly due to the Night of Horrors, unfortunately August is heading in an even worse direction, but thankfully there is still plenty of time left to turn things around.

Going Through Some Shit!
This is the first time I’ve gotten on the site in a few days, I’m going through some shit at the moment, and my beloved computer is on a vacation… so updates will be sporadic.
On the plus side, my very talented friend Raby Whyte, will be helping my redesign the site whilst my computer is absent.
Happy Grinding, hopefully I’ll be back to my own grind very soon.
RSA Has Arrived :-)
I am very happy to report my RSA key fob arrived today from Poker Stars, I have just set it up and besides now worrying about forgetting my pin lol, it is a great relief to finally have it set up, hopefully I won’t feel compelled to check my account balance every time I log on just in case I got hacked whilst I slept anymore.
I would highly recommend that you invest in one of these, you can only buy them with fpp’s which is a bit of a pain and it took me a few weeks of heavy grinding to pick up the 6k required being a few tabler, but it shouldn’t take you that long if your grinding 25nl or higher and it is well worth it.

Computer Upgrade
Just when I was beginning to pull through out of my cold / flu that kept me away from the tables last week, my graphics card goes and dies on me, which really sucked as you can imagine.
Thankfully I had funds available, not available to spend on a new graphics card, but available and needs must. So I ordered a replacement which happilly solved my problem earlier today.
Unfortunatley to keep things stable I now also have to shell out for a new power supply, which was a bit of an unwelcome purchase, though when the bills have settled I’ll be very glad with both upgrades.
I still feel a little off it and my eyes are really sore if I’m honest, but I am hopefully to get back to grinding within a couple of days now.
