April – Thank You

Well as I mentioned in my last post, April 2009 has been a really good month for me, comfortably my best ever. Its been a really good confidence boost and i feel I am settling into my own approach to the game nicely.

This months results.

Here’s my graph covering my cash games over the month. I won’t bother flashing my tournament graph as I only played a handful of them.

  1. Congratulations on a great month Lucky!!
Very impressive stats over a decent sample. I am particularly impressed with your ‘red line’. You obviously play a very aggressive post-flop game.
    Cheers

  2. Thank you, my red line is very important to me. I played my first few hands at 25nl last night, and I’ve been feeling crappy ever since, why… because I won nearly $30 in 90 hands, but all from showdown winnings… yes that upsets me some lol.

  3. You know lucky, I always suggested that you play at least 25NL because at lower stakes, it’s just too many donkeys. Here at 25NL,at least you can get paid off big time if the donkeys don’t catch.

  4. I haven’t been feeling too good since moving up to 25nl, though I think most of that is due to feeling under pressure with uni. I’ve hardly played at all and my sessions have been very shot with me being a bit distracted in them as well.

Hopefully I’ll see another surge in my performance over summer as I am truly trying to put in a lot more study.
