Taking a Break
I’ve had rather a lot of computer time recently, and my eyes are suffering for it, so I am likely to be taking a bit of a break from playing, likely not more then a couple of days, but it will give me a rest, both mentally and physically and it will give me a chance to catch up on other stuff I have be neglecting so far this month.
In summary, the month hasn’t been going very well for me, I estimate I’m down 1 BI for 5nl so far, but that loss is negated by the profit from my recent tournament result, so I’m probably around break even so far this month. Which isn’t too shabby, but obviously I was hoping for a better showing after a nice finish last month. Its still early days though and there is plenty of time to left to have a nice positive outcome for the month.

I’m with you Lucky. Sometimes time away from poker will give you a fresh perspective moving forward.
Just take a break and catch up on the real important stuff. Of course this is easier said than done…lol.

I don’t think I’ve had any, not during this time at 5nl anyway, plenty of coolers like set over sets and full house over full house, but no real bad beats.
I may resume play again tomorrow, failing that I’ll probably get a session in over the weekend. I’ve been playing shit since I moved up again, and have since been distracted, so hopefully when I do sit back down, I’ll be able to mirror or improve on my performance last month and wash over my poor performance thus far.
