Hi everyone, sorry for not posting anything on here for ages and ages, but I’ve never really returned to poker and turning this into a non poker blog just didn’t feel right. I believe the site will finally be taken down at the end of this month, I’ve just logged in to do a full backup of the entire site for prosperity or in case I need to dig something up.
I also want to take this opportunity to say a very loud and clear thank you to everyone who supported me and / or this website either in poker or in life. If you wan’t to stay in touch I’ve got a relatively new blog running called Emotivated Erika… I’ll let you Google it, so I get some search traffic :p

Perhaps the biggest update, is that I’ve finally made SN, I came real close in 09 earning over 80k vpp’s, but decided I couldn’t push for it. It was a lot closer then I would have liked, I crossed the 100k vpp mark around the 3rd week of December. Illness kept me from playing soon after, and I’ve only just started to get into a routine of playing again after a bit of time off.
Now that I’m trying to write an update, I’ve forgot what I was going to write, doh!
Only other news I can think of right now, is that I’m 9-12 tabling atm, instead of 16-20, whilst I try to improve. I’m also thinking of adopting a 9 table first week of month, then 20 table rest of month routine.
A quick mention about my goals, main goal atm is to pick up ~23k vpp’s to earn last years $1k milestone, I’d also like to play 150k hands this month, which would be easily my best ever, I’ve done okay so far, but its early day’s.

After making a lot of withdrawals, I finally made it back into 50nl earlier this month. Despite winning more flips then I’m entitled, I’ve otherwise been running a bit crap, that coupled with some leaks that I’ve had for a number of months and just can’t shake off, as forced my hand and I’m back at 25nl yet again. My situation hasn’t been helped by running really horrific this past week, its really put a big downer on my month.
There are some positives tho. A student of mine has helped me come up with a “poker pro routine”, which will hopefully help me keep up my volume, it has now been transferred to a 90cm x 60cm wipe board, so theres no excuses anymore lol. I’m also coming to the end of my contractual commitment with team moshman which will relieve some pressure, as at least all of my rb will be my own once again. I’ve also had a session with Disco Bisco, and will be having my first live sweat with him next week. There’s a few leaks that I’m aware of, and in theory know how to fix, but I’m finding it really hard in practice so I’m hoping he can help me with that.
Generally my objective is to remain positive, work a lot harder, increase my volume and to keep improving and pushing for 200nl+

Been really busy lately, haven’t played all that much, well not as much as I’d like, been doing loads of coaching tho and thats going well. I’m still likely cheaper then anyone you can find, only $12 an hour atm. If your interest e-mail me or send me a message on skype or aim, I’m luckystraights on both, and please let me know as much information ahead of time as possible, such as what tracking software you use, wether you play 6m or fr, etc.
I’ve been grinding 25nl recenlty due to some hefty withdrawls, should be back at 50nl tommorow though, and I will certainly appreciate the faster vpp earn rate as I’ve fallen behind pace in recent weeks.

I’m not sure on dollars lost but in all other respects this is by far my worst month, that coulped with a massive withdrawl I need to make. I’ll be back at 25nl tommorow, hopefully I can avoid the mistakes I’ve made in my last few sessions, and I seriously need to start running better to avoid disaster.
